The bucolic Pillsbury Tasting Room on the rustic Vineyard/Winery property offers a unique experience in wine tasting. You will enjoy 5 pours of Pillsbury wines and receive a crystal wine glass finely etched with the Pillsbury logo for only $13 per person. If you bring your own glass from another local winery, there is a $2 discount on the tasting. If it’s cold outside, expect a nice toasty fire burning in the Franklin stove.
We encourage you to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy with a bottle or glass of Pillsbury wine. Tables and chairs scattered under the pines and pecan trees, allowing maximum enjoyment of the magical mountain and valley views.
You just never know when Sam Pillsbury will show up here—always an added treat.
GETTING THERE Our Pillsbury south tasting room is situated on the 100-acre Pillsbury Wine Company estate, just 14 miles SE of Willcox, Arizona. Located on the Willcox Bench in the Sulphur Springs Valley, we’re surrounded by the Dos Cabezas, Dragoons, and Chiricahua Mountains.
Heading east across the railroad tracks for 5 miles on 186S leads you to the Kansas Settlement Road turn-off. Head south (right) for 5 miles to Robbs Road (unpaved)—turn left (east). Bennett Place is about 2.5 miles on your left. Follow the lane up past the vineyards to signs leading you to the tasting room and winery.
If you’re adventurous and love a scenic route, depart from I-10 at the Dragoon Road exit. Follow the road south past the Amerind Museum and through the tiny town of Dragoon to I-191. Head south for about 6 miles to Birch Road; turn left (east). Birch connects to Kansas Settlement Road. Head north on KSR approximately 10 miles to Robbs Road. Turn right and follow the dirt road to Bennett Place and our door.
STAYING IN THE AREA? Within a 50-mile radius Willcox, you can explore historical sites, National Parks, bird-watching opportunities, other wine-tasting rooms, wine festivals, art events, and long-standing cowboy celebrations.
The Pillsbury Vineyard/Winery is proud to be an authorized Harvest Host RV site. Travelers belonging to this group are welcome to spend a night for free (dry camping/no hookups), parking anywhere on our property where you won’t upset the daily work flow. We ask that you call first, 24 hours in advance if possible. Please check-in at the tasting room first so we can give you pointers about the best places to park to enjoy our fabulous sunsets and sunrises, and to fully enjoy a canopy of a bazillion stars. We also keep a small selection of maps and promotional materials on hand of nearby attractions.
Tent campers and RVs also are welcome to spend the night at the vineyard/winery property. We request $15/per site overnight ($10/night Pillsbury Wine Club Members). Please call first.
Wine purchases and tastings are appreciated, of course!
